Support the Future of the Tech Workforce
The technology industry is experiencing significant structural change.
Layoffs, automation, and economic shifts have left many experienced professionals navigating job searches lasting a year or longer. At the same time, nonprofits and early-stage organizations often struggle to access the technical expertise they need to modernize systems and build new digital services.
Sponsors play a critical role in making this ecosystem possible.

The Founder’s Story
Long-term unemployment carries a stigma.
Many people assume that if someone is still unemployed after months or years, it must mean they lack talent or skills. In reality, many experienced professionals are navigating layoffs, industry shifts, and hiring slowdowns beyond their control.
That was my experience.
After nearly two decades building a career as a strategist and design leader, I experienced multiple layoffs as companies restructured or lost major clients. In my most recent role, I spent 2 years trying to stabilize the business before my position was eliminated.
The consequences extend far beyond losing a job.
I also lost health insurance. As a single parent, I applied to hundreds of roles while working retail shifts, walking dogs, and pursuing freelance work to support my family. At times, I relied on programs like Medicaid and SNAP to make sure my child had what they needed.
Mindful Collective Studio was created because no one should have to navigate this transition alone.
Sponsors help ensure that experienced technologists remain connected to community, meaningful work, and essential resources like healthcare and training during periods of career transition.
